Having bumped into a guy from Green Saffron (an Indian food company based in Midleton in the People’s Republik of Cark) a couple of months ago in Fallon and Byrne, I’ve been completely smitten by their Rogan Josh spice blend.

I’m a big fan of wine from Cahors, an area to the southeast of Bordeaux. Somehow, I’ve managed to get on the radar of frenchmalbec.com who interviewed me recently for an Irish perspective on the wines from Cahors.

Malbec, the grape of the 21st century (according to Robert Parker), is being jointly promoted by both Argentina and Cahors. Good news for Malbec drinkers.
