More on the wine available from
Hewitson Ned & Henry Shiraz 2005, Barossa Valley, South Australia
Availability
Looks like it’s available from 64 Wine in Sandycove and probably elsewhere. Priced about €20-€22
Just a bit of background to this Winery…
All of the Hewitson fruit is sourced from the smartest vines all over SA but, the Winery is in the Heart of Adelaide in the old Farmers Union Milk Depot..!!
The Shiraz is a cracker too, picked at perfect berry ripeness, dry grown from good, old clones.

Cool review. I could really tell you were enjoying it! I haven’t had the opportunity to try this paticular wine yet, but with all that going on in the glass, I’ll add it to my wishlist. In truth though, it’s hard to find a bad (or even a mediocre) wine in South Australia: the scale starts at “good” and doesn’t stop till you reach “orgasmic”.
