CYT = Concho y Toro, with a different label.

You’ll find Concho y Toro in most supermarkets.

Oriel has another wine by the same winemaker as Taralula, a Brunello di Montalcino that has been one of my favorite wines this year. Note sure if Gilbey has it, but its worth seeking out: http://www.orielwines.com

I was late getting there so was under pressure myself.
Missed a good few i was hoping to try.
Going to the French Embassy tasting tomorrow in Ely CHQ
Missed it last year and it was super by all accounts.

nope on all counts, had to be very selective due to time pressure, was only there for about an hour.

Could easily have spent the day there.

Hi Lar,
Did you try the Hermitage La Chapelle 2001, J Drouhin Saint Veran 08, or Hunter’s Estate Siete Soles Cab Sab – lovely plums on the nose, and good finish for the price range I thought. Fairview La Capra Malbec also interesting. Their S/B has huge grassy undertones, very French in style.
