Ever wanted to explore the wine world in a little more detail but don’t know where to start?
In association with the Wine Board of Ireland, I have a pair of tickets to give away for this Saturday’s “Introduction to Wine” course (value: €39 each).
About the course
This two-hour course will explain the main wine types and styles with a particular focus on tasting techniques.
It will also contain advice on food and wine matching and how to store and serve wine. The course will provide a sound introduction to wine to those who have a little knowledge on the subject but a desire to know more.
It will also give enthusiasts the essential basic knowledge they need to take their first step in exploring the exciting and very enjoyable world of wine.
When and where?
- Saturday, 25th April 3pm-5pm
- The Wine Board, 14 Whitefriars, Peter’s Row, Aungier St, Dublin 2 (map)

ooooh i would love this … did lots of wine tasting in NZ and Aus back in the day but took it as a means to free wine more than education … i am older and wiser now :-)
