Tuscan Estates Sale
Campomaggio is a well rated property in the heart of the Classico district by the town of Radda. The IGT Rosso recently won 88 points in Wine Spectator and the Classico is, rather unsurprisingly, ‘classic’!
The Poggio al Cassone estate is furter North West towards to Pisan hills, with ‘La Cattura’s’ vines nearly stretching to the sea. Its vines are family run and are organically farmed, using indigenous Teroldego and Syrah varieties to create a smooth, structured and well balanced wine.
These are normally keenly priced wines but now offer exceptional value!

Cremant de Bourgogne
The best sparkling wine in France, outside of Champagne, is unquestionably produced from Burgundy’s Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. They might have something to say about that in the Loire, Alsace and Saumur, but Burgundy has real class about its Crémant that can only truly be achieved from this blend. (Now, if they were able to grow Pinot Meunier….)
Louis Bouillot Crémant de Bourgogne
Louis Bouillot’s fine example here shows a fine mousse with persistent and crisp bubbles in the mouth. Flavours of quince and ripe yellow fruits dominate with notes of brioche and honey.
€19.95 per bottle or two for €30
